Overview
How to work with duplicate names in differeing AD Domains
Prerequisites
PINsafe 3.x
Symptoms
A user cannot be added as the name already exists. You cannot have the same username from two different repositories.
Solution
However you can work around this by implementing userPrincipalName instead of SAMaccountname e.g. user1@swivelsecure.com instead of user1.
On the PINsafe administration console select Repository, then the name of the AD server then modify the Username attribute. Possible options are:
sAMAccountName
userPrincipalName
