Ports used to connect to PINsafe

Overview

PINsafe can connect to other devices and also be connected to several other devices depending on the desired configuration. This document outlines the standard ports that are used.


PINsafe Appliance Ports

Connections to the PINsafe Appliance

PINsafe management console (Web Browser) to PINsafe server: 8080 TCP, 8080 TCP over SSL. See Also How to run PINsafe on non-default ports

Command Line (including CMI): 22 TCP(SSH)

Webmin (Web browser) to PINsafe Appliance: 10000 TCP over SSL

Access Device (e.g. VPN) to PINsafe Appliance: 1812 UDP for Authentication, 1813 UDP for Accounting

Access Device (e.g. VPN) to PINsafe Appliance: 8080 TCP, 8080 TCP over SSL Alternatives using XML authentication
