Removing Excess Repositories

Overview

When a repository is deleted from PINsafe, there is an option to delete the users with the repository. If this is set to no, then the repository of users remains in the repository list. This details how to subsequently delete the repository.

Solution

1). Create a repository of exactly the same name as the repository to be removed, with the Repository type as the original. Ignore errors about: Repository "<repository name>", cannot be added to the database: possibly already exists.

2). Set the option ‘Delete users with server’ to yes, apply settings.

3). Delete the required repository

4). Set the option ‘Delete users with server’ to the required setting, apply settings.
