Overview

This article concerns the error AGENT_ERROR_BAD_CONFIRMATION_CODE, which is sometimes experienced when setting up a Push RADIUS integration for the first time.

Error during RADIUS authentication

This error is most commonly seen during RADIUS authentication.

  • Disable "Send security string after stage one" on the RADIUS -> NAS entry.
  • Review the options to check password with repository, especially if using Active Directory. Are you submitting an AD password during authentication? If so, enable "Check password with repository on the RADIUS -> NAS entry. If not, then disable it.
  • Are you submitting an invalid AD password? If so, this error will be reported during RADIUS Push authentication.
